June 2010
This morning I looked in my closet and saw that I didn’t really have summer clothes.
It’s hella-hot outside so I really needed them. I went downstairs and said to my mom : ‘Let’s shop!’ *really happy face* something like :DDDDD
Her back hurted a little but I’m always in power (>:D mwuahaha), so we went shopping. With my mom’s money.
I saw hella-many people that I knew in the city! And someone with a Bring Me The Horizon shirt, that I had never seen before!
I bought (with mom’s money) a bikini, three pairs of pants and an agenda for school next year. =( The thought of school next year is depressing
Anyway, I was lucky because all those things were really cheap! The pairs of pants were €10,- €10,- and €15,- (which is about 12 and 18 american dollars)
Maybe I just buy things that aren’t fashion-ish right now xD But who tha hell cares :]
- Me: Look! I like that hair!
- Mom: yeah, but I don't like your hair.
- Me: =(
Tonight, We’re going on a schooltrip to Disneyland Paris!
I was there last year and it was totally awesome, can’t wait to go again.
Sadly it’s going to be really hot, and that’s not really nice when you’re standing in a frikkin long line. And another bummer is that somebody told me today that we aren’t allowed to go to disney studios. Pretty lame, because that;s where the cool rides are D: I wanted to go in The Tower of Terror and the rock n rollercoaster and something with turtles! But thats impossible now ): Well in the disneyland park are space mountain and big thunder mountain , and those are cool too.
And now I’m having breakfast, byeee
O and mehhhh no worldcup matches today )=
I want them all!
Hey thanks! Cool, you’re supporting holland too (y)
I was really looking forward to the soccer worldcup from this year. It’s one of the biggest sport events in the world. It’s great because of the commitment with the world!
Many of my friends don’t like soccer, they think the game is boring and they really don’t care if we win or not.
I can’t understand that. Here in the Netherlands everything turns orange during a worldcup. Everybody likes eachother, because everyone agrees with eachother, Oranje has to win! The worldcup isn’t just about soccer, for me it also is the strong bond with your nation. Sometimes you just gotta let yourself go, scream the shit outta you when there’s a goal, and hug everybody! Even if you don’t like the game, it’s still cool to celebrate it.
But yeah, it helps to like the game. I’m always really tensed when Holland plays, always shouting: ”Nooooo” and “Yessss!”
When we win it also makes me feel proud. I’m not really a nationalist, but with these things I love to watch Holland play.
So now we’ve made it to the quarterfinals, today we beat slovakia with 2-1. Next one to beat is Brazil. Damn that’s gonna be a though one, but I still believe Holland will be champion! You gotta stay optimistic you know. Okay I know I also have to stay realistic but hey, let me dream
So today I went to Parkpop, the biggset free festival in Europe, in The Hague in The Netherlands!

I went with two friends (look at pic xD, left to right: marit, joyce, me), and it was freakin cool. Well actually it was really hot. After one little jump or move, I was totally exhausted and sweaty. Luckily there was a guy, who sprayed at us with a waterpistol x)
The heat was killing us, so we looked for shadow. Yeah, there was shadow, but like everybody was sitting there, it was really hard to find a place without standing on peoples hands.
But when we sat down, it was überchill! The bands that we’ve seen weren Alphabeat, Danko Jones, The Popopopops, Mama’s gun, Admiral Freebee, Justin Nozuka and Kooymans & Carillo and the barking dogs.

The keyboard player from alphabeat moved like he was fucking his keyboard. The male singer from alphabeat was dancing really funny but with passion.
The popopopops, Kooymans & Carillo and the barking dogs, and Mama’s gun were nice. Justin Nozuka was ehh not interesting. Danko Jones was fucking funny. He also spoke about the fact that we are some fucking crazy land for banning Snoop Dogg from Parkpop.
I totally agree, I reaaaally wished Snoop Dogg was there. They DID play a medley from snoop dogg’s songs so he was there a little bit :]
I bought a cool shirt and scarf there, but it was kinda expensive, so I didn’t have enough money for food and drinks. See, I had a problem there, ‘cause I was starving. Luckily my friends are nice enough to lend me money :]
Also, there were some really hot guys. Yeah, that makes sitting and chilling alot more fun :)
O AND I went the toilet in a dixie for the first time in my life. what an experience.
Everything today was awesome, I’ll be uploading pics maybe vids from parkpop 2010
Tomorrow I’m going to an annual FREE festival:
PARKPOP!
Two friends of mine, Joyce and Marit are joining me, it’s gonna be awesome.
It’s in The Hague, a city in The Netherlands. And as the name tells, it’s in a park. I’m really excited, the weather is going to be nice, and who doesn’t love chilling in a park while hearing music and talking to your friends. Ahh, looking forward to it.
Another plus is that I don’t have to see my family for a day, haha I know it sounds so rude. I do love them, but hey, be honest, sometimes you can’t stand them!
Some artists I’m excited to see are Alphabeat and Danko Jones. Also The Popopopops, I don’t know their music but that name just makes me want to see them xD
Before, Snoop Dogg was also performing, but those a-holes from the community of The Hague have forbidden him. Damn how can you forbid an artist, not fair! ): But despite that, It’s going to be an awesome day!
Although, I hope I don’t walk in to these ducks again. Last year there were some cute ducks there, but they turned out to be evil. Like, the sons of satan. They bit my finger. That day I found out that my fingers look like sausages, and ducks mouths are really sharp.
Pic of last year taken by joyce (tumblr: joycemultiplechoice.tumblr.com )

Look how they look at my fingers. Yum delicious
…I knew exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up.
A postman, (well, a postwoman)

Quite weird huh? I just loved the tought of putting papers, letters and packages in mailboxes, while people waving and smiling at me, thankful because I delivered their mail, which they had waited for, for so long.
Now I’m fifteen, and I actually deliver advertisment leaflets in my neighbourhood. Not because of my childhood dreams, but because I needed money. The younger me couldn’t be any more wrong. Delivering mail is NOT fun.
In the beginning it wasn’t that bad. The weather was nice, and I was pretty optimistic about it. But week by week the leaflets became more and more, and my salary was not rising as much I wanted it to. It takes me many hours to deliver all of it. And damn, those leaflets are effing heavy! Many people told me they pity me, because I also have to deliver when it’s raining. But the weird thing is, I actually like the rain. It is way more horrible when the sun is shining. It’s too hot, it makes me really tired and thirsty, and I get sunburned.
Also there are many little kiddies, who are too curious. Once I had a whole army of kids walking behind me, just because they had nothing better to do than following me. Hey, maybe I had to make them deliver my mail! They sure would like it, I mean, when I was a kid, I wanted to do this all the time!
But the conclusion is that I pretty much hate this job now. I guess childhood dreams don’t always come true, and if they do, they turn out to be nightmares.
